Feedback geven**ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW (resolved promptly and graciously by management)** This was our first visit to Woods Fort, as we had heard great things about the food. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:20 PM, but our waitress didn’t come to take our order until 6:39 PM, making us wait 19 minutes. My side salad, which accompanied my entrée, arrived 10 minutes later, but we still hadn’t received our appetizer. At 7:10 PM, I found myself writing this review, with still no food—no appetizer at all. To complicate matters, another family walked in about 20 minutes after us and immediately received their drinks, followed shortly by their appetizer. It’s worth noting this was a Tuesday night and the restaurant was fairly slow (I have pictures to prove it). While I understand that some nights can be off, by the time I finished writing this review, we were approaching a 50-minute wait. When our waitress finally approached us—without any food—she asked, "Is everything okay over here?" We were left puzzled since we had yet to be served anything beyond the salad and had received no further assistance during our lengthy wait. At that point, we informed her that we would pay for the salad but needed to leave. She went to get the manager, who came out shortly after, holding two to-go boxes. She explained that it wasn’t our entire order—just our appetizer and one of our two entrées. She offered what was ready to us if we chose to pay for it, and mentioned that other orders had come in before ours, which accounted for the delay (though I’m unsure how that justifies such a long wait since orders typically follow the sequence in which they are placed). We’ve never experienced a wait this long without receiving anything. After that experience, we decided we didn't want to proceed with the order and would take our business elsewhere. We held a working lunch at Woods Fort and had several attendees who did not RSVP for the meeting. The staff at Woods Fort handled the last-minute additions seamlessly! They set up extra seats and prepared more food without any hassle. Their graciousness and accommodating attitude were truly appreciated. A big shoutout to Jamie and her team! Service: Dine-in.
We ordered hot wings, a personalized pizza for my wife, and Cajun pasta with chicken for me. After nearly an hour, a large group entered the banquet room, prompting me to ask if they could pack our orders to go. When our food was finally brought out, the pizza was not made to my wife's specifications, and my dish looked like elbow pasta with no chicken in sight—just a small piece of some green item. It resembled dry leftovers that had been hastily reheated in a microwave. This was the second time we faced such a disappointing experience here, and it will be the last. We’ve already stopped going there for lunch due to the poor service and management.
We held our son's rehearsal dinner in the Fireside Room and everything was wonderful. Kelly was always available before our event to answer questions and give us recommendations, and the staff during the event was professional and attentive. The portobello mushroom ravioli was a favorite among our group. Everything was just fantastic! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The food was just alright. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the establishment was spotless. I tried the sangria; I'm not usually a fan, but I thought I'd give it a shot. The service, as always, was excellent.
