Inn At Taughannock - TRUMANSBURG

We were there in a very regrettable night. there was a huge high time out and several small parties inside and they were short workers! it took a very long time to be served, but eating was very good. the personal was very apologetic and promised it would be better next time. we're going back.

Beautiful view at our patio table. Server was friendly and highly recommended the strip steak special. Our fault for not asking the price. $99.00!!! And not all that great a steak. My husband is not going to let me pick a restaurant for some time…

Although I made the reservation 3 weeks in advance, they had no table for us. He had us wait 30 minutes, no excuses, even while several tables were open. service was extremely slow. Eating was ok, but was not worth $40 per main course. the waiter said they changed the owners since the last time I was there. I guess the place went downhill. many beautiful places in trumansburg and ithaca, where I will go next time.

The intention was beautiful and the service was decent, but eating was terrible and overpriced. if they charge $99 for a ny strip steak special, they should be at least able to cook it to the right temperature, and it should come with a nice one. two members of my party ordered this special and could not even eat the center of their steaks because they were raw. you ordered medium and the other medium rare were both rarely served. I add that it is not as if they had not known that they were not the right temperature because the steaks have cut for the service and the pasta court was literally unusable. there were five of us in total, and the bill ended with $550. only one member of our party ordered a beer, while another ordered an icy tee that has never been brought out. I don't go back and would not recommend this restaurant.
