I've been going to Sapore for years. Great place to get a quality sandwich or hot meal.
Turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato mayonnaise, pickles and provolone cheese on a hard roll.Embarking on my second culinary journey within a mere fortnight, I am left utterly awestruck by the delectable Turkey sandwich graced with an ensemble of tantalizing ingredients. Each bite transports me to a realm of unrivaled freshness and flavor. The lettuce, cool and impeccably crunchy, adds a refreshing crispness to every mouthful. A perfectly timed and ripe tomato, bursting with vibrant juiciness, complements the ensemble flawlessly. And let us not forget the star of the show—the turkey itself—fresh and cool, a testament to the quality that only the finest delis can deliver. Such perfection is a feast for both the senses and my camera lens, capturing the essence of this truly remarkable sandwich.
Their Vegetarian sandwich is simply delicious!! I only wish they had more vegetarian/vegan options. I’ve ordered delivery for a group on a few occasions, and the delivery time has been good each time. I also ask for an itemized receipt (so my colleagues can pay me back) but it never ends up coming in the delivery box. The woman on the phone is quite friendly though!
Never again. I have been getting the same sandwich every time. When the owner is not there, it's $10. When he is there, it's over $12. They literally make up their own pricing. Beware when the owner is present. (I'm not 100% sure that he is the owner, but he appears to be managing everyone). The guy has his own pricing system. He may even try to negotiate the cost of your food with you. It's a set menu... haggling should not be a factor. He has added at least $2 to the sandwich price all three times that I noticed he was present. Today was the last straw for me. They gave me the smallest portioned, grossest sandwich I've ever received. There was so little meat on it that I had to eat a second lunch in order to get adequate protein. (I'm a man, not a goldfish). It was mostly marbled fat, too, and I had to toss pieces out. No other deli would try to pass that off as a full sandwich worth double digit dollars. Seriously, in my 30-plus years of life, it was the most pathetic excuse for a $12 sandwich that I've ever received. Anyways, don't go there. Consider yourself lucky if you've read my review. Inflation has made things worse there, and they've become extra cheap now with the quantity of food that you will receive. I'm taking all of my business to Country Cow in Fairfield.
