Ho Ho Wok - Truro

I'd say eating could do something better. fried rice was overcooked and muddy, egg noodles seemed hard and should have been cooked a little more. fried wintons would have had some meat filling and not just fried teig. the place was beautiful and courtney was very friendly and pleasant. will not be my first choice for the next time.

Rice smelled and tasted like it was old, sweet and sour boneless pork seemed to be meatless, ginger beef was very average and egg rolls were not good. I have yet to find good Chinese food in Truro

Disappointing. My sweet and sour pork seemed soft so I cut it open and realized it was 70% filler/batter.

Me and my two friends walked in at 7:20 to sit down and eat. We knew they closed at 8, but thought 40 minutes would be enough time for them to make the food and for us to eat. When we walked in the lady at the front desk said “Hi?” in a “why are you here?” tone. We asked for a table for 3 and she just stared at her watch and said “we close at 8”. Bare in mind, there was only two other people in the whole restaurant. She seemed very unwelcoming, and made us feel like a nuisance so we just left and ate at Mr. 10 instead for takeout, who had our food ready within 15 mins of ordering. Probably will never be back after this experience
