The staff informed us that they change gloves for gluten allergies and use parchment paper frequently, but they handle the rolls and cut them near gluten-containing items. Because of this, we felt that there was a risk of cross-contamination similar to what we might experience at Subway. Ultimately, we chose to dine at Hula because only their sauces, which are added at the end, contain gluten.

If you are comfortable with the level of risk at places like Subway, you may be okay eating here. However, we opted for Hula's as they only add gluten-containing sauces at the end.
This restaurant serves excellent sandwiches. If you mention that you are gluten intolerant, they will take extra care to ensure that your meal is safe for you to eat. The gluten-free buns are ten times better than the regular buns. This is a very safe place to dine.
