I think it is a restaurant that is difficult to eat as a tourist though it is not cheap. It is delicious and delicious.
We had luck hearing from a tour guide of peking garden tsim sha tsui star house. she told us about the beggars chicken and the story (or myths? behind it). it sounded so fascinating that we only had to try. we made the obligatory 24 hours in advance reservation to order the beggars chicken and it was worth it! a car was rolled on our table with the magnificatin crust. I was told that I took her hammer and for a photo posing that cracked the bowl. of course the whole restaurant has been watching! then the server illuminated it on fire and then when the fire died, he continued to remove the dish carefully to unlock the delicious bun in a tonne steam. it was delicious! what an experience!
Peking garden is a good choice for entertaining visitors in hongkong. the peking duck is delicious. my main reason for booking this restaurant is that they can order peking duck either half or completely from the menu; they do not have to preorder peking duck, which is common in other restaurants.
Eating was okay, but we noticed a big insect in our eating. no apologies by the staff.
Great food. We all loved the cold Sichuan chicken. The beansprouts were also great. Not always easy to get attention of the waiters/waitresses.
