Bombolé - Tucson

I ordered the Bomba combo and chose the spinach and mushroom empanada. However, I could only taste spinach and didn't notice any mushrooms. The cilantro sauce wasn't really to my liking; it tasted a bit off and sour. On the other hand, the jicama salad was very fresh and delicious, as were the lentils. The staff were extremely friendly, taking the time to explain the menu and offer recommendations.

I absolutely love this restaurant! Although I don't visit as frequently as I would like, I always have a fantastic experience when I do. The fusion of Indian and Latin flavors is both unique and delicious. Overall, it's a perfect spot for a quick lunch in the heart of downtown Tucson. Be sure to stop by the next time you're in the area!

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and as soon as we walked in, the enticing aromas assured me I was in for an incredible meal! You can’t miss the vibrant yellow decor and the stunning mural behind the register, which really engages all your senses. I ordered the Bombo combo with a Fiesta empanada, and it was absolutely delicious! My friend chose the Pork empanada, which had a bit of a kick but was also very flavorful. I particularly loved the rice and found the lentils to be delightful as well! We also tried the cilantro lime sauce and hibiscus tea, both of which were excellent. I’ll definitely be returning since they offer about five other empanada flavors, along with different sides and salsas to explore! Oh, and the ordering process is reminiscent of Chipotle or Subway. Plus, they have the cutest outdoor seating area.

This restaurant truly deserves its high rating. I've visited several times for their bomboles, tea, and most recently the Chicken Tikka Masala bowl with Honduran cabbage. Each time, the food has been absolutely delicious, the service has been lightning-fast, and the staff have been nothing short of outstanding. If I could give more stars, I absolutely would. It's the best place to eat downtown!
