Get soup, sesame bread, brown or white rice and a drink. Must try. Help out local small business. Go hit up Calvin and the gang. Fresh cooked to order...choice meats, beef, chicken, pork or seafood blend. Great food, bring the whole family.Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose fromParking: Parking kinda cramped, but plentyKid-friendliness: Good family restaurantWheelchair accessibility: Yes
Poorly maintained 85+ degrees in dining area, filthy fan whith spent bearings in corner, mystery charge of $2 for beef, maybe they misunderstood me when they asked if i had beef. Almost $22 for a bowl of noodles and pork and very small portion of flat garlic bread and some honestly pretty good soup. I wouldnt visit until winter since they seem unable or unwilling to matain climate in the dining area. Tables and floors were clean though. Parking is also a nightmare though not their fault it should be noted.
Food great, just like always. There's a super loud air conditioning motor or fan in the roof which after a while starts to give you a headache and it's loud loud. Otherwise, atmosphere is fine.
This Mongolian BBQ is a nice gem of a place to find out in the city of tucson. Also location is in a decent part of town as well with other great places nearby to visit.Pricing here can range quickly with a group of people coming in, one bowl for an adult is 17.99 which i think is a bit much and should be more in the 15.00 range for what is offered.Food quality is the in form of taste are consider for the mongolian bbq bowls are fantastic. As for the soups they are a little off in terms of balance. The egg drop soup today was full of salt so beware of that if you are watching your Cholesterol. The hot n sour soup is great at first but if you eat more than one bowl it start to be overpowering. The vegetarian soup was surprising as it was more closely in taste to an Italian minestrone soup than one would think about an asian style vegetarian soup. The atmosphere was nice clean and maintained with some nice decor but i feel it could use some pictures of mongolia and also some plants would do well. Place is open floor and the customers looking around are generally happy and not making any bad faces towards their meals. The staff is absolutely friendly and customer service friendly. The cashier gave a fantastic suggestion when it came towards paying for meal to be more cost-effective. You don't see that a lot in today's world. Made me instantly want to come back! The serving staff and cooking staff were very prompt about their jobs and had great attitudes and were not rude at all.In short this is a great place to get a meal but there are only small areas which need some improvementVegetarian options: The vegetarian options are there and plentiful and also a way to make a vegan option.Kid-friendliness: Place is kept nice and clean which is great for health of kids. The do have kid options available. However there isn't activity amenity for kids such as basic coloring.Parking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Easy wheel chair acess
Horrible. To start with, the place is dingy and doesn 't seem overly clean. You pick the food like a buffet and then they cook it on a grill while you pay $18 a bowl! and pick soups, rice and bread it 's like a tortilla with sesame seeds in the crust . The grilled food was dry even after adding sauce, the bread and rice were fine but the soup was downright disgusting. They had a very bland egg drop soup and what they called hot and sour soup that tasted like the egg drop soup but they added chillies and malt vinegar. Too much malt vinegar. Insane for the price. And usually, at a Mongolian BBQ place, you get to watch the chefs cook your food in front of you, maybe even be a bit silly about it, but they practically force you away from watching over your food. Don 't even get me started on cross contamination with any food allergies or preferences. Highly recommend staying well away from this place.
