Charred Pie - Tucson

Definitely one of my favorites in Oro Valley. The meatball appetizer is a meal in itself! Definitely suggest you try it. The lemon chicken pasta is also good. But the pizza is where it's at

One of our all time favorite pizza places! So. Good. Do not skip the Woodfire Bread, it is amazing!

Both my sister and I chose the lunch special, which included a personal-sized pizza (either pepperoni or margherita) and a salad. Since we had already snacked on popcorn at the theater, we weren't extremely hungry. Upon arrival, we were greeted immediately, which is always a plus for me. We were seated fairly quickly, considering the busy time of day. Our server was friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time as well. My sister went for the pepperoni pizza, while I opted for the margherita. We were both really pleased with our meals, even though we had to request to-go boxes because we couldn't finish everything thanks to the popcorn! I recommend checking out their menu; there are many tempting options! If you're feeling adventurous, there are a few items I noticed that I want to try on my next visit: wood-fired oysters, Bloody Mary grilled cheese, fungi pizza, and couch potato pizza. Happy eating!

We ordered the Brussels Sprout Romaine Caesar Salad and the Caprese Salad. Not only were they tasty, but they were also enormous and perfect for sharing. Additionally, we tried the Spaghetti and Meatballs and a Margherita Pizza, both of which were equally delicious. We ended up with plenty of leftovers. We will definitely return the next time we pass through Tucson!

This restaurant was a letdown. The waitstaff was inattentive and made us feel like an inconvenience. The pie was even more of a disappointment—lacking in flavor. The pizza crust resembled cardboard. We tried the Hawaiian and the White Pizza with shrimp added, but there were only four shrimp on the pizza, and they definitely weren't jumbo. We also ordered the bread dip, and while the ricotta with fig was decent, it wasn’t enough to save the experience. It’s unfortunate because the menu had promising options on paper.
