El Mezquite Grill Doubletree By Hilton Downtown Tcc

My husband and I had an amazing time. We had dinner at the bar. The bartenders were great and very attentive. My husband had carne asada tacos and I had the El Mez burger. Both amazing and full of flavor. For drinks I had to try La Mala hora cocktail and he tried of couple of the LOCAL craft beers. Their beer selection is great with all local beers from different breweries in Tucson. Needless to say, we had a great time and the ladies at the bar made it even better.

Worst experience ever. Server came to table once to get drink and food order. Drinks were incorrect. Food didn’t come for over an hour and no communication. Also missing several items. Steak over cooked. Asked for manager multiple times and they never came. Many tables just walked out.

Nothing for vegetarian but a salad that was 90% lettuce. The taco bar was sad... meat meat meat and sour cream for toppings. Waiter was overworked and hard to spot. Way overpriced for the small amount received

We never received our food because the kitchen was so behind. Our waitress left and never handed off our table to another server. Multiple groups of people left after waiting over an hour just for appetizers. The drinks were fine and they didn’t charge us because the food never came. It was one of the worst dinning experiences I’ve ever had.

Nice place to go before any event ….cocktails were delish and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. Will go again
