Feedback gevenI had the worst service ever at this restaurant. The two servers were not attentive at all; they were sitting with friends instead of helping or checking in on tables. Our server was completely absent. As for the food, I would rate it a 1 out of 5.
The food is outstanding! The waitstaff was extremely attentive. I ordered the shrimp cocktail and the toritos as appetizers. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5/5.
I had a very enjoyable dining experience. I've visited this restaurant about five times. My first visit was fantastic, the second was a bit disappointing, but the rest have been great. Today, June 6th, the chef was exceptional! The toritos—yellow peppers stuffed with cream cheese and shrimp—were cooked to perfection. I hope that my next visit will be as outstanding as today. I ordered two lemonades, two mixed tostadas, and a serving of toritos, and the total came to around $48 before tip.
We tried this restaurant for the first time today. Found it on Google maps. I had the beer battered shrimp and my husband had a mixed seafood dish. The service was good and everything was fresh and tasty. Rice was not hot but the food was still very good. We will visit again the next time we are in Tucson.Food: 5/5
This is ridiculous but I guess it's my fault for not paying attention to the bill before paying.As we were leaving I realized I hadn't been given a copy of my receipt.At first she couldn't understand what I was asking but I was able pantomime enough to get her to understand although she had no problem taking the order even with a substitution.When I looked at the receipt I realized why I wasn't given my copy of my receipt.My friend ordered the fish chips $15 and an appetizer of chips salsa $7 totally ridiculous . When I asked about the charge s our waitress suddenly couldn't understand English except to say that's what she ordered. I later found out it was the rice and beans that was substituted for coleslaw. We were never told there was a charge for a substitution.After the server/waitress handed me a second smaller itemized receipt she suddenly became too busy and bewildered to help or understand anything else.The waitress and one of the cooks started talking to themselves and then to a man in a red shirt in Spanish.I asked if anybody still spoke English and the man in the red shirt ask what I needed. After explaining my question to him he told me that I was charged $5 for the substitution.Rather than get upset I just left.Never again.
