Pita Jungle - Tucson

Wow, this place is my new favorite restaurant in all of TUCSON! Not only is the decor cool inside and out, but the staff absolutely rock! I was out in Tucson for some IT work and completed it around 12:30pm and I remembered seeing Pita Jungle as I passed it going down Broadway to get to my job for the day. I decided to go there for lunch and grabbed a seat at the bar. The bartender Kirsten greeted me and remembered me from last time I was there just before the holidays. She immediately grabbed me the Tropical Iced Tea that I had last time I visited and had a menu for me before I could ask her for it. Now, if you like curry...I recommend the coconut curry soup it is off the chain good! You won't be disappointed! I was originally going to order a salad but As I browsed the menu I saw that the had a Halibut plate, which sounded good! So I ordered the Halibut and the soup. I only managed to take a few sips off my iced tea when the soup arrived! I dived into it savoring every spoonful, as I was about half way finished with the soup, my Halibut arrived...of course with a big smile from Kirsten who wished me, Bon Appetite! I said to myself, wow that was fast service! So, after devouring the Halibut, I sat back and just enjoyed the moment. This is one of the best restaurants in Tucson I thought to myself! Great food, really cool employees, and really cool atmosphere! I would highly recommend Pita Jungle for all your corporate lunches or for friends with the afternoon off! Or if your just by yourself! And don't forget to stop by the bar and say hello to Kirsten and order your favorite drink!

We've been there so many times since they opened the Broadway location and I only have to complaint about the food once (there was a hair inside my wrap) but that didn't stop us from coming back... Yesterday (9/27/17) I went with my daughter and had a huge and delish California Beach Turkey Lavash!!

Today was our first time trying it and I must say we loved it and we'll be back.

We absolutely love the food at Pita Jungle, but what I truly appreciate is their transparency regarding food preparation and ingredient information. I took my granddaughter there for her birthday, as it was her choice. She's turning six and is a big fan of their dishes! I accidentally ordered chicken instead of turkey from the kids' menu, and when it arrived, I noticed it was seasoned. Since she has multiple food allergies, the staff was incredibly helpful in checking the exact ingredients and promptly exchanged the meat for a safe option for her. They handled everything with a wonderful attitude and treated us with kindness, which we truly appreciated. This, along with the delicious food, is why we'll keep returning. Thank you so much!

From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome. The hostess quickly found a table for our party of five, and our waitress, Michele, was outstanding. The food was incredible as well. I will definitely return to this restaurant.
