Py Steakhouse - Tucson

We both ordered the 14oz Ribeye cooked medium, but the steak we received didn’t seem like a ribeye at all. It lacked the expected marbling and was incredibly tough, which is unusual for this cut. It was also bland and somehow both burnt and undercooked at the same time. I’m aware they offer special rubs for an extra charge, but I assumed it would at least be seasoned with salt as a basic touch. The sides were merely okay. We had the potatoes gratin, mac and cheese, and seasonal fried okra. The cheesecake was decent, but it didn’t really fit the high-end restaurant vibe either. Overall, this was a disappointing experience. If you’re looking for a good steak, I would recommend steering clear of this place. The food simply doesn’t justify the hefty price tag.

My wife and I had dinner here on September 1, 2023. The service was outstanding, and the staff was very attentive to our needs. However, the wait for our food was unacceptable. What should have been a simple three-course meal ended up taking two and a half hours. Although we weren't in a rush, the food should have been served more promptly.

The restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere, but unfortunately, there was a mix-up with our order—it wasn't entered into the system. We only found out when we inquired about our food. By that time, it was too late for us since we had tickets to a comedy show next door. This mishap ended up ruining the entire weekend for my group.

Having been years since our 1st visit and experience dining to last nights dining... superb service, excellent ambiance delicious food!! Thank you to all the staff members and Chef/ Line Cooks... We will be back!
