Live music on sundays is attacked here at rockabillys! 5 to 9 I think and for a minute there seemed to improve the eating. because this place has changed, he'll get the drain off. it has been argued that they are ex law enforcement, which says control problems. why does someone buy a bar then not keep nurturing his growing, weekend maintenance? tax protection is my first assumption. give this young 6 more months and this will be a neighboring gangsta bar with karaoke 7 days the week. no live music anymore. it's hanging on now. they can enter a Sunday afternoon and catch deacons per jam. this still attracts many qualitatiw high-quality players, and deacon still works his magic there. if they receive their names on the list, I guarantee them that they will come to the lists. because now, live music is hanging on this neighborhood sports bar, despite the annoyingness of a decibel meter high on the east wall where everyone can see. it is not the place for them if they cant walk and chew gum at the same time..ie if they can see a football game without the sound or during listening on music. So if they can deal with security bartender and waiter, the possibly related of the new owners with very little experience or geduld waiting tables, then they love gott to help thrive living music in tucson.but if they are a band member who can not even get on the house during their gigs, .just go away. they tend to abuse bands here. they will cut them short time wise, put some harmful amateur rap group on, then they will dock their payment. I can smell a dying club a few kilometers away, and this one will surely circle the drain. Perhaps this city side will be lucky if someone opens another live location in the opposite as monterey court. Of course, on Sundays at rockabilly's 'a thang .' is not a better place for regular people or musicians to park it on a Sunday afternoon.just make sure they smoke something chronic before they go..it 'll tolerate the sting of the inexperienced server, but the live music will surely capture it.
Not fair band was excellent! the first time in rockabilly grill. I was surprised how big the actual bar was, we could get a table for 4 with an excellent look at the band. however the service was missing. they need more bartender/wax staff on a busy Saturday night. when my partner went into the bar to close our register card, she tried to pay someone else's credit card and when he didn't give her his cc, she argued with him! also we had problems with our food, we were with another couple and they ordered on another tab, then we ordered and the waitress went to order, but within 10 minutes they could not turn back to tell us that others had been thrown away. I ordered an impossible burger (for a hit of $2) and got a generic (mushy) veggie burger not an impossible burger. at the time when we closed our register card after we had the bar twice for drinks when our waitress was mia (and overwhelmed) we forget to mention the swap with the impossible burger. that is, we will return because it was a more positive than negative experience, and everyone can have an 'off' tag.
One of the best local bars in tucson. olivia the owner is a lovely person who offers good bar food and musical entertainment 7 nites per week. the bands are great and Sunday jams with deacon is a horn skin talented surprise
Drove to Rockabilly Grill in a limo. Had a blast! They actually had a smoking section, very cool. Highly recommended and staff was very friendly.
