Porto Pino Cafe-Gelateria - Tübingen

We treated ourselves to some gelato as we were wandering around Tubingen and we picked this place because of the unique flavours of gelato they offer. Prior to coming here most gelaterias that we had encountered seemed to only offer a select few flavours, but not this place!....they had many different flavours we had never seen.....and they didn't disappoint!!It is so tasty!.....you must try it out for yourself!

Went the first time with the little one. great ice-cream , over 20 flavours - hard work choosing. so nice that we went again! the service was great. the restaurant was busy but the staff were still pleasant and patient with our indecision!

On the hunt for the best ice cream in Tubingen. Since I love ice cream, this challenge doesn't seem too challenging. Merely an excuse to collect data to compare. For the sake of research, I'll 'force' myself to eat a whole scoop.Looking out for the use of good ingredients, a balance of sweetness and a super creamy texture. Very good ice-creams with a very large variety of flavours and nice staff. Very clean. Really in the touristic centre

As a mother of 4 years old (well, not that it would be very different for myself) I am a very frequent visitor of the Tubingen's ice-cream shops. This is far best of them. Love it, can not live without it, developed a complete addiction to it. I could not decide what I love more: their regular ice-cream or their ice-cream desserts, all priced at the 4.5 / 3.5 euro (this is cheap, comparing with the other places in Tubingen). The quality is fab, staff is pro, and there are even tiny chairs to seat and watch the street while eating. The owner is Italian, and now I understand why "Italian ice-cream" is such a hype.
