We had pizza, they are quite large and they were generous with the beats! the prices are really good, starting and up. I had a pizza tune and wanted an extra topping, which was no problem at all! after we have a wad. with nutella and whipped cream, also generous with the ingredients. they make everything fresh and made home, and they can taste that, on a good wise! also the prospect is amazing, right next to the beach.
I spent a week in fuerteventura especially around gran tarajal city. in the first night, I and my friends had dinners in this restaurant in the possession of giorgio, an Italian guy with a long-term experience in the hospitality industry. we were so satisfied that we went back to the same restaurant, for all our meals from the house. the food is great and everything is made to house: tapas and paella, salad and fruits, meat and fish of the day, homemade cakes, as well as Italian dishes as pasta and an exceptionally good pizza. every day choose giorgio and his wife together with all workers also buy fresh food. a few times we had a delicious Italian burrata and bruschetta and I am Italian, so I can just say everything was great! there is also a children's menu and the playground is just in front of the restaurant. they can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. you can drink aperitivo. it is a place where you can relax at any time before the sea and have a chat with giorgio and his personal: they are all super friendly! prices are then fairer: good value for money. without a doubt, just enjoy at horno loco!
Place busy this evening, staff fairly quick to clear table and bring menu. Good coffee but sadly food disappointing. Lasagne lukewarm and pretty tasteless. Pizza more promising although have had significantly better elsewhere. Probably would not return for food but okay for coffee and drinks...on the beachfront.
Lovely café situated on the beach front in Gran Tarajal. I have never seen the place empty and it can get very busy at times with very few staff working. The staff are, however, amazing and work themselves very hard to provide the best service...they can at all times. This can still mean a significant wait if the place is busy. I mainly visit for coffee and some sort of cake or other tasty treat. The coffee is always good and the selection of treats is always changing. The cakes can sometimes sit for a few days so it's always best to go inside to see what is down to the final slice and what is fresh. They cook thin based pizza to order and have a selection of deeper based tray baked pizzas which they sell by the slice. Both are very tasty. Also worth a try is the selection of savoury strudel slices. Value is very good and service is always with a smile. Some of the staff speak English and dogs are welcome in the outside seating area.
