Jolly Kone Drive Inn - Tulelake

The staff were friendly, and the food was fantastic. We happened to be passing through when we got hungry, and I’m really glad we discovered this wonderful restaurant.

This restaurant serves the best burgers! The buns are freshly made, and the milkshakes are wonderfully thick. The owner is incredibly kind. I can’t wait to return!

We were really looking forward to trying this restaurant during our trip from Ajo, AZ to PDX. According to Google and the website, it was supposed to be open today, Sunday, but when we arrived at 3 PM, it was completely dark and there was no open sign. We ended up having to drive down the highway to Polar instead. What a disappointment!

The burgers here are outstanding, and the milkshakes are fantastic. Visiting this restaurant feels like a trip down memory lane to the burger joints of my childhood. The owner is friendly and an excellent cook. She also makes handbags! The retro decor adds to the charm, making it a reliable spot to grab a bite in town. I dined here last year and had a great experience then too.
