Feedback gevenWe have eaten the first week in september. we drove out (about 45 minutes by car with some delays). this is a restaurant for serious weintrinkers and gourmands. the wine list has over 2300 bottles! we asked the sommelier for help and he was admirable. the weeping were adapted to our eating (natural). the dishes were excellently prepared, especially the sauces. the owner/cook is in front of location and in the kitchen. (in contrast to so often in los angeles). the service was excellent. a divine evening.
All the dishes we ordered were exceptionally tasty and the individual components well balanced. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is a mix between hip and cozy which makes this a perfect location for any kind of occasion.

Im Gegensatz zum einigermassen kompetenten und sehr freundlichen Service war die Küchenleistung unterirdisch. Es klingt ja alles sehr gut auf der Karte, doch die Wahrheit ist: schlechte und/oder an der Grenze zum Verdorbenen befindliche Produkte (Fisch, Ente), unispirierte, lieblose Küche, dafür Riesenportionen... kurz gesagt, die Weinkarte ist das einzig Interessante. Fazit: Zu vermeiden!
