I recommend the ceviche and mocajetes as well as the guacamole. I'm not sure how they do their fault, but it's life-changing stuff. there are many more trendy options for mexicans in the city, but none of them has the heart and the authenticity of el burrito. they do the right thing.
Our favorite Mexican restaurant in tulsa!. this is by far me and my family favorite Mexican restaurant. Veronica and oscar own it, it is a wonderful mother and pop place, always feel welcome, great service when they have been there once, they are a more regular. bet burrito is excellent, taco salat, and one of my favorite is the seafood quesadilla. her queen is the best I ever had. we stumbled on this place because we drove him past and thought we shot him. it is now a weekly necessity!
My favorite thing about living at 3rd and Pittsburg is that I am walking distance from El Burrito. This place blows El Rio Verde out of the water. It's in a shopping center and the location is very unassuming. The food is fresh, the family that runs it is amazing, and the micheladas are on point. There are much trendier options for Mexican in town, but none of them have the heart and authenticity of El Burrito. Do the right thing...
El Burrito is one of those neighborhood gems that foodies search high and low for and seldom find.
Come and try this place, you won't know what you have been missing.
