Kitchen 27 - Tulsa

A sunny, spacious setting with friendly, prompt service but disappointing food. Each of the 3 of us ordered quiche, which was really a pasty crusted, bland chicken pot pie accompanied by some greens and dressing. Also there was apparently the option to eat outdoors which we we3re not told about but went to later for iced tea. due to the high ceiling it was very noisy and difficult to talk. The tables are too wide.

We were seated at 11:50 and did not receive any food until 1:13. When the food finally arrived, they were out of the dish I had specifically come for. It was a terrible experience. The manager comped our meal, but I believe this was the bare minimum considering they had initially told us our food was on the way. We watched as several other tables received their food before us, and many diners had finished their meals by the time we were still waiting for ours.

Excellent service with witty waiter. Beautiful setting. We could visit with each other and be in the mist of exceptional art and gardens.

This restaurant is a wonderful spot for enjoying a Sunday brunch with your family and taking a leisurely walk through the garden.
