La Hacienda - Tulsa

Quality and worth eating, as if someone took care of it. Delicious, but atmosphere needs a serious help. carry them on an eyelet and transport them somewhere while they enjoy food that is plentiful and fresh.

Good Food but Strange Atmosphere. Came in for breakfast but ended up ordering the gorditas....it comes with three and got one pork, one beef and one chicken. The pork (carnitas) were by far my favorite. My wife ordered the breakfast quesadilla and it was large and good. The chips are corn tortillas and the salsa is a Verde type. Not crazy about the salsa. The interior is clean but weird, carpet floor and sparse decor. It seats about 40 people but has no atmosphere. Very good. 4 out of 5 stars. The food was awesome. Not completely authentic, but if you like places similar to On The Border, you will love La Hacienda. The prices are about average, $8 per plate or so, and there was a coupon from restaurant.com. Full review La Hacienda is at 4518 S Peoria Ave. in a strip mall and hard to find La Hacienda had a restaurant.com coupon and great reviews. Morose service, but delicious food. We arrived to an empty restaurant at about 1pm. The waiter that came to our table maintained a blank face and spoke few words. The atmosphere was... a little dull. My girlfriend and I shared the fajitas for two with shrimp, chicken and beef. Thankfully, the food was excellent. The portion was a bit large, but delicious enough for us to make a valiant effort at finishing it. As we ate, more people came into the restaurant, improving the atmosphere somewhat. Tasty food, but a bit depressing when you're the only people in the building.

I don't know what restaurant the previous reviewers were eating at. Took my family here tonight because of the great reviews. Food is ok at best. Salsa is horrible. Queso was cold and not good. It's cheap, but I would rather pay more and get something better. Oh and it's 8:05 and we are the only table in the place and have been the entire time we have been here.
