I ordered the chicken Parmesan, which was quite cheesy. There wasn't too much sauce, but that was fine as it kept things from getting messy or soggy. The bun was nicely toasted. While the chicken was unbreaded, it would have been even better as a chicken cutlet. Overall, a solid choice!
Charming, old-school deli with a relaxed vibe. No frills here—Lou himself took my order. He’s a great guy, and the menu is extensive and affordable!
I ordered the turkey and cheese sandwich with lettuce, mayo, and onion, and I think I’ve found my new favorite lunch spot in Tulsa!
Because of the great reviews I brought my family here for lunch hoping for a deli experience analogous to NYC, but it was not even close.First, the employee at the front was wonderful and he made light conversation too.The food though was not really impressive. I got a salad, which I ordered without jalapenos, but it still had jalapenos. The salad was served on a dixie paper plate, and my wife's was served on a different style styrofoam plate it didn't feel terribly professional. The ranch dressing was separated when I got it, and it didn't quite taste like ranch. The chicken was rather soggy, and I was hungry so I ate it all, but maybe their sandwiches are better?
It was my first time in Tulsa and I was looking for a local place for breakfast/lunch. Lou’s Deli hit the spot. The Skillet Wrap was an excellent choice.
