Maxine's Food For The Soul Llc - Tulsa

I have heard that the food was good, but my time is precious. I went there today 4/8/22 @12:30pm because the website said it would open at 1:00pm I called and text the number asking about when they would open with no prevail. I stayed until 1:20 still no show. So I will not go back or get a chance to taste food unless someone brings it to me. NOT GOOD BUSINESS

My Hubby 's nephew told us about their food, so we gave them a try today (Sunday afternoon). After ordering takeout and eating the food at Maxine 's, I can see why he told us about ths place!?? The Service was AWESOME, the food was Extremely DELICIOUS and the atmosphere was COZY.....we had an EXCELLENT experience.? I had their 'Daily Special ' of Chicken Cornbread Dressing with 2 Sides (I chose Cabbage and Mashed Potatoes w/Brown Gravy Cornbread), Cranberry Sauce and choice of Roll or Cornbread. EVERYTHING was Well-seasoned, Hot, Fresh and very TASTY!? My Husband ordered the 3pc. Fried Fish, Green Beans, Macaroni Cheese and Cornbread (comes w/2 Sides and Roll or Cornbread). He said the fish was Flaky Seasoned really Good....he Enjoyed ALLLL of his food, as well!?? Although we live south, we will DEFINITELY return to Maxine 's for some Good Ol fashioned 'Soul Food ' that tastes, 'Just like Grannies ' (their Slogan). There were 2 Women, who served us were cooking the food and BOTH were Extremely Friendly, as well as Professional. Unsure if they 're Mother-Daughter duo or Sisters, but they did an Amazing job. I asked 1 of them (didn 't get her name) how long they 've been open and it 's only been since June '21. So Please, SUPPORT this Small-business bcuz I DEFINITELY Recommend them....??‍P.S. The food was Soooooo DELISH that I forgot to take any pics....??‍? Btw, the 'Peach Cobbler ' is also SCRUMPTIOUS!

The sweetest folks run this place- even though we got there right at closing they accommodated us and saved us a piece of pie. Delicious food!!!

The baked chicken is so tasteful and tender. The side are as good as the service and smiles that come with it. Plz TREAT YOURSELVES!!!!!?
