Feedback gevenWe're out of town and my 10 years old really wanted RR. We went in and the hostess wasn't nice. I went in with a smile and said Hi and was just ignored. She looked at my husband and held 3 fingers, and he answered 3 . It took a minute to fiddle with something on her board, get menus and put us. No good meal, nothing! I just ran away. We sat there for 10 minutes with several employees on foot and NOBODY welcomed us at the table or even recognized that we were there. The restaurant wasn't even busy. I've been in the food industry for 20 years, and I've even run restaurants in my past. Even a hey give me a second and I will be right with you would have been acceptable, but we have nothing! We ran out! I don't give a restaurant my money that can't even have employees who take the time to confirm our presence. We drove to Waterfront Grill and had THE BEST dining experience. I wouldn't suggest wasting your time with this special RR.
The service is very slow. The food was very chaotic. Friends were good. The waiters are too big and overworked. This gives them fewer tips. Management is the blame for the atrocities here. They do not teach them to clean or present food. Not recommended!
There are some things wrong with this place. The service is almost not existent from the moment you go through the door. It took 5 minutes until someone came forward to welcome us at 5:45 in an almost empty restaurant. There was no lack of personnel, as we have seen many employees in the area of kitchen/prep. The smell in the restaurant was of old fats and dirty frits. We finally sat and none of these servers came to wait for us. We decided to go. We drove to the BA location as my son had set his heart on Red Robin for his birthday. Very different experience. Dedicated hosts and wonderful service. No smell. This was not our first bad experience at this (Riverside) location. It seems to decrease steadily in all possible ways.
Our family went through and Tulsa wanted to be our food stop. Bad choice as it was dirty and smells of mildew and fat. The host didn't say anything as if we wanted a table or stand. I was very disappointed because Red Robin is one of my favorite places. So this is gonna be a first and last one here in OK.
Usually love going to red robin, but this experience was the absolute worst. I saw a worker in the kitchen texting on his phone. Apparently they don't wear gloves or these ones weren't. Love the bottomless fries, absolutely my favorite thing there, but 4 different times they brought us cold fries. My nieces sweet potato fries were cold as well. My mom got a burger and it was mostly cold as well. Watched the waitress walk past our food to socialize with another employee. Watched our food sit there for 3 min before anyone grabbed it to bring it to us.... when we told the manager she was polite but only gave us an 8 dollar discount spending 80 plus dollars there with half of our food being cold.. I will never go to the one on riverside again.
