This cute, clean sit-down restaurant is in an industrial area and it 's nice to have choices. Very fairly priced, much less than some of the higher end Mexican restaurants, and amazing service. Chips and salsa were both very good; I love the crispy, light chips. Refried beans were tasty, however, no cheese on top; fine by me, but some people probably would be unhappy. Now, the reason for the 4/5 on food is personal preference and an unwillingness to accommodate, let me explain. Firstly, the guacamole was over 50% tomatoes and onions, I prefer a much larger ratio of avocado. When I asked the waitress if next time I could order avocado slices instead, she said no, they will not do that. And the other issue with food was the chili relleno. The menu describes as a breaded, fried poblano pepper with queso. I forgot to ask for no queso and add red sauce, but they did bring red sauce when I requested. I spent a lot of time with Mexican friends who loved cooking, and it 's beyond me why Oklahomans generally like everything smothered in queso! Sometimes the menu says breaded but the chili is made with egg batter. I much prefer the egg batter and there was barely any breading on the chili, just a few crumbs. Overall, a very good restaurant with piping hot, quick food. I will visit again but pass on the guac and chili relleno.
The food is well prepared, always consistent, and has great taste. Good selection and always friendly attentive staff.
Actually did not go to Senor's we went next door to Gardner's books!
