La Palapa Restaurant - Tulum

We were just ready to tour the ruins and we were thrown off the train in front of this restaurant. We chose tacos and beer. Three in our party ordered 1 taco each. You have three. We also had chips and salsa, a coconut drink and a pineapple drink. Too bad we don't ask for certain prices. The bill came to $155!!! The Lord who gave us our account was not even liquid. I'm pretty sure he does that frequently. Buyer Careful.

I would like to praise and thank Katherine, Ozzy, Poncianu, Kati and Ostel very much (Spelling can be at their excellent service for me and my friends and family in the evening and day of the 24th. December 2015 be wrong. Not only was the whole day full of food, atmosphere and service, but in the evening we couldn't find our taxi driver. Therefore all (all of the above staff have done their best to call all and every phone number to find this taxi driver and some even gave their own phones for him to call us back (like I was an American phone line that didn't work in Mexico). The goodness of the beautiful ladies was matched with their incredible service. In addition to efficiency and great concern (for us all of the male servers was completely excellent! Thank you so much for being such an incredible place and I look forward to pointing you to many people in the future. Honestly, Victoria and my friends and family.

The picadas were very delicious and our waitress was great. The priest was fine and the beef Burrito was salty. ordered rice and beans for our son. He only ate the beans, didn't feel the rice. It seems there were no more tomatillos... so we couldn't order anything... Dinner for 2 adults and a child w drinks ran for 300 pesos.

My friend and I ate here an afternoon after we were on the beach all morning. I got Hangrey when it approached 3 and we had no lunch yet. We had delicious fish tacos and enjoyed the strange but amusing Mexican music... videos played on loop. They also brought the usual chips and salsas before our meal began. There was a Chipotle Mayonnaise Art Sauce that wasn't really right with me, but it was good food and a good price. The fish was boiled for perfection and my hungry-pregnant!
