Golden Chicken Tumut

After eating from the big take away foods while being on holidays, it was nice to have dinner from here. The chicken was cooked just right and the chips the kids wouldn't share(so you know they are good). Only thing is they are not open Monday and Tuesday.

I highly recommend and always get a Plain Hamburger as they are so tasty plus super fresh and bigger than average plus great service and very clean shop plus lots of food to choose from

I do not know how long we have been stopping here, however lets say it has been a very very long time. It is great to have old fashioned fish chips gravy especially when it looks like and smells so dam fresh. And i have to say some of the best dam chicken cheese and ham rolls that I have come across. Staff have always been friendly and chatty. Service is fast. Lets face it how many times have you been to a large chain takeout and the food is greasy and oily. Golden chicken knows how to cook with hot oil.

A hamburger with the lot should be what it says, having to peel the paper off it and then finding a hair in my beef patty topped it all off. Chicken drumstick was the size of my thumb and the chips were dry cutoffs. Way overpriced. Never again.

Food is well over priced. chicken is beautiful and chips are all off cut cheap ****.staff are ok. taking a family here is not affordable.
