Benenden's - TUNBRIDGE WELLS

I love this little community café. one of our bike group arranged them before our visit to warn them that a large group of hungry and thirsty cyclists would descend upon them. they reserved a table for us. Eating and drinking was served so quickly and efficiently. we were at other places where we waited for a simple sandwich over an hour. the sausages were delicious and some of our group hungry macaroni cheese! cake delicious and coffee well made and piping hot. will definitely return! thank you for refueling us to finish the rest of the journey!

Bad customer service wanted to sit outside but asked where the toilets were first before ordering for my pregnant partner, but we are rejected use of the toilet as we had not ordered

I just tried the coffee and biscotti. the flat white was excellent (they have a real coffee machine) and the mandel biscotti was one of the most beautiful I tried.

Beautiful staff, plus lorraine makes the most beautiful scenarios! was shocked to see some unfortunate reviews here, so although I haven't been here since covid, I highly recommend

My wife and I stopped by for a coffee and cheese scone before a walk on the High Weald,The lockdown was imminent but the relaxed atmosphere was reassuring of times gone by and times to come, It is extremely well stocked as a store and...the menu fresh and inviting . I regularly look up the website which is up to date and can only await with antisipation of the coffee shop side of the busineness to open. Thank you for such a pleasant experience.
