Plant-based milk was available for tea coffee (I have Califa barista oats) and there was a vegan brownie available for dessert. Nicely presented and super tasty ... with wonderful views of the sculpture park and friendly staff.
Easy. As a mixed group outside. Food came, for example, brownies and ice cream, and we had to check whether they were for the vegans or the omnis. (Why not only serve 1 brownie with ve ice cream, make it easier for the staff? . Soup very tasty and fill. Wasn't sure if the spread with which it came, Ve so abandoned it. Why serve vegan soup with butter? Pricey. A beautiful environment, but do not think that it means in what vegan at all. Vegan skin on fries beautiful!
The restaurant is located in the Yorkshire Skulpturenpark, which is worth a visit. There are several places to take food in the park, but this is the main restaurant. There were probably 6 or 7 options on the menu. Everyone looked pretty tempting. I had the rye sourdough with mushrooms and asparagus and it was really delicious. Great service and food. I was also tried by a cake in one of the smaller cafes, and in this case there were also sandwiches that were clearly labeled as vegan.
Lunch in this bright and airy restaurant in the new Weston building with magnificent view to the west over the park landscape. I enjoyed a vegan salad and my wife vegan dal tadka served in terra cotta bowls by Indian artists whose exhibition was in the gallery! It was a beautiful Saturday, so busy, but the service was good.
