Mcalister's Deli - Tupelo

My wife thought the chicken Cobb salad looked good, but the veggie potato did not meet expectations. When I brought it to the Manager On Duty's attention, she took the potato back to the kitchen and personally remade it. Initially, I rated the restaurant three stars, but after the manager's efforts, I am now giving it four stars. The first potato should never have been served in the first place.

We had a delightful Saturday afternoon lunch at this restaurant with friendly and smiling employees. The menu is extensive, so I recommend checking it online before visiting for the first time. I ordered the Pick Two with a spicy turkey melt and Caesar salad, while my daughter had the kids' pizza with chips and a cookie. Our friend tried the King Club sandwich with a side of mac and cheese. The portions for the adult meals were huge and we were impressed with the quality, accuracy, and speed of service. Although the pizza was small for a 10-year-old, it was delicious. It had been a while since our last visit due to the popularity of the restaurant, but we were reminded of why people love it so much after this visit.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and was disappointed with the club sandwich, as it was very dry due to lack of honey mustard and mayonnaise. The side Caesar salad also lacked dressing and the chef salad had cucumbers despite my request to leave them out. The salad barely had any ingredients, such as meat, cheese, or eggs. Overall, it was the worst chef salad I have ever had, which was very upsetting.

These guys seemed to be in desperate need of more help. Everybody was super busy but the phone rang constantly while we were there. The food is always good and we will return.

Always good service and great food. If they forget something they fix it right away. Very clean store and friendly workers.
