It seems that there is a full story behind the restaurant like if it would be a movie but I did not get it full. Beyond the set and the good food, the service being poor replay damage the experience. It is a pity. Maybe it was the bad day!
We were a group of 4 including 3 Italians who visited this place around 8.30 on the 2nd Jan. We were first told by the unfriendly lady at the till that there was no tables. Although the manager located a free table, we wish he hadn’t. There were several free tables, but we got a table in a far corner. We waited more than 20min to be served and another half hour at least for our pizza. The waiters were friendly enough but there wasn’t enough of them. The choice of pizza is good and varied but the actual thing was disappointing. Min was not cooked enough despite having a black crust. The place is is part of a chain founded by a comedian and we felt taken for a laugh exept laughing was the last thing we felt like after visiting.
Fratelli la Cozza is at the peak of Turin’s Pizza industry. Being a proud half- Italian, I always love having food from my roots. With freshly made dough and delicious and inventive topping combinations, f.lli la Cozza’s Pizza is nothing short of amazing. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, which is exactly what you’d expect from Italian cuisine. The price was reasonable- especially for a first class pizza. Also, the quirky decorations make for a great experience at the table. Whilst on the subject of the table, the wait was never too long for a pizza. All in all, this was, is and possibly will be my favourite restaurant in Northern Italy.
Local not of exception, but nevertheless in good complex, nothing to criticize, very friendly and helpful staff, very great place and beautiful for those who want to make table
Discreet pizza, only three stars as upon arrival a different reception would not ruin!
