Gandhi - Turin

Very tasty, quite spicy (which we asked for). We had two menus the New Delhi (chicken) and the Bengal (fish). Pretty good value, and definitely our favourite Indian in Torino

I’ve been residing in Torino since the past three years and have visited the restaurant frequently. Being an indian, the food feels like home and reminds me of the authentic gravies that we have originally in India! It’s also suited to italian tastes and my friends from abroad appreciate it too! The owner and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Overall, a must try if you like Indian food!

Last Sunday was one of our anniversaries so we decided to go out to lunch in Torino. We had been looking for a new Indian restaurant as the ones we had been frequenting had become too Italian in their preparation, losing true Indian flavors. We decided to give Gandhi a try and were not disappointed. Service was excellent, food was as good as we have had even matching our favorite Indian restaurant in Kyiv and if you reserve through TA and on the right day, you can get a significant discount. We now consider Gandhi our goto Indian restaurant in Torino. If I had to say something that was not what we were used to in Indian restaurants, it was that some of the dishes were lightly spiced, less than we are used to. We were told the Chef is from the area around Punjab so this might explain the light spiciness. Highly recommended!!!

Always a great restaurant, excellent dishes and staff prepared and kind. Unfortunately the account is always very high and so I limit myself to go really to 1-2 vv year
