Feedback gevenMy wife,the two teen and me, we spent last 4 days of 2019 in Torino and fortunately we had this small family restaurant at the ground floor of the hotel. We eat fantastic and spent under budget. Great bisteca and pasta, good wine that matches the food, permanent but discrete attention from the personnel, small talk at the end along perfect desert and coffee. DON'T MISS it!
We have found the food in Turin outstanding and this restaurant tips all the boxes with very good food at respectable prices. The Ravioli was brilliant and the veal fillets superbly cooked. Coupled with great service, our 142 Euro's was well spent (included a nice bottle of red). Not a bad coffee as well. Note that vegetables are mainly from a buffet, but this is fine and provides plentiful fare. Keeping both parents, one meat eating teen son and a picky teen daughter all happy can be a chore, but GustiSani managed to achieve this. Tip, book in advance as we couldn't get in the Thursday night before.
I chose the Fassona Piedmontese meat tartare to the 8 flavors. The meat comes from Fassona's farm that the restaurant has in Biella and is cut off at the time of customer's ordering. It is prepared by hand, at the table, by the waiter that lists the eight flavors that one by one he blends with the meat. The Fassona meat used comes from young animals. For this reason, it is very tender and has a non-intense flavor that is adapt to be amalgamated with the 8 flavors that are added to it. The environment and service are welcoming. Prices are affordable.
We returned the evening after the first dinner, we changed the dishes and reaffirmed the goodness and quality of food. Okay. a compliment to elisa and matteo. Good.
A very happy discovery! Let's go back to try other dishes! we booked a couple dinner using a promotion on the fork (which was applied without need to make it present. ) the room is intimate and nice, with modern furnishings. we were welcomed and served with friendliness and speed. We waited a few minutes for the table that had booked late. the menu is not too long (personally I appreciate it so much and offers both sea and ground dishes with refined and brilliant combinations. We took a starter and a second, the other one a first and a second. fast service, perfect quantity to enjoy a second dish, delicate and tasty gouits. We only drank water. the account has arrived in all 72 euros (not considering the discount,) in our proper opinion. only pieces: the pasta of the first (spaghetti) was not designed to bronze, this disappointed me and is the main reason of the 4 stars because I do not expect from a restaurant that seems so good; the second had something a little too salty. altogether a great experience to repeat!
