Pantagruele - Turin

I always go to Pantagruele for pizza when I go to Torino. One of the best restaurant for its ingredients. Very high quality. Desserts are exquisite as well. Excellent service and very kind staff.

I had heard wonderful things about their pizza, but was actually disappointed. We ordered pizza with buffalo mozzarella and although it tasted good, it was extremely soggy.

We started with appys--prosciutto con melone. It was excellent. My wife had a mixed green salad that was fresh and flavorful. The pastas were prepared well, and the second courses were very good. They had a waiter who was delighted to practice his English with us while I practiced my very limited Italian. Overall, we were pleased with the freshness of ingredients and the presentation and quality if the food.

Pausa pranzo, ottima pizza, con servizio cortese ed elegante, al pari della sera. Ma a prezzo competitivo. Bravi!
