Grill It Marina - Turku

Location and view is nice in riverfront, in Radisson Hotel. Our waitress didn't spoke any Finnish, which wasn't a problem for us, but maybe for some? Interior is basic, like in every hotels and food was OK...but this is Turku, not some big European capital, so prices were quite expensive. Pepper Steak 42€ and cheapest wine bottle almost 50€ and if you take 5€ for 1 ice cream ball, no need to take that extra 1,50€ for chocolate sauce

We went to eat there with our family (two adults plus two teens). We all felt that is was a nice experience: a bit better place to eat but still not too expensive. We ate a fish menu that was suggested for us. All in all the food was excellent and hot when served and the scenery from the restaurant is a very nice one: a view to river Aurajoki.

Everything went well. Service and food were good. You should ask a Windows table with the view to the river.

No surprises and some disappointments. The quality of the food was variable and bland. Some things like the asparagus starter and the pork dish were nice. Chicken was called spicy but all you could taste was garlic. Then to the grill bit, apparently even fillet not cooked from scratch at the open fire, they souvi them and finish on the fire they say. Found no hint of the open fire flavour. Fortunately loads of other options locally

Ate here 2 times last month. However, unfortunately the disappointing first visit seemed to actually be the level of the restaurant based on the second disappointing visit a week later. 1st visit. 2 people eating. Both ordere bruchetta for starters. Only 1 of us reveived it. Then they made another one, but it took 10+ minutes. Both ordered burgers with no red onion. 1 regardless had red onion in it. We ate it regardless, no big deal. One of us ordered 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream, but only received 1 scoop. So to conclude, not a single round of the dinner went correctly. They provided the desserts for free (the 1 scoop of ice cream). Have to say that the burgers were still excellent! 2nd visit. 2 people eating. 2 people ordered burgers with no onion. Both had onion inside. Well, like last time, we just ate them regardless. However, this time the burgers were no where near the quality of the first visit. The beef was well-done (even tho we asked for medium). Very unfortunate. The staff was quite busy and not very pleasant to deal with both times. They did not have that service attitude, rather just a ”im here to do my work, nothing else” attitude.
