Hanko Sushi Turku

If you are in a hurry or hungry. Don’t go! If you come alone, help yourself and enjoy. First I want to separate the score for food and other things The food is good and I would like to give a 5/5 for it. But I came in the restaurant before 8pm and find a table by myself, no one brought me the menu and no one showed me to order from the cashier place either. Okay so maybe i didn’t know the rule. But later there comes in a 4 person group, why they can get the menu on their table? I have no idea. I have ordered a Tuna bowl, it tastes good. Thank you. But what can make a Tuna bowl takes 50 minutes to cook? The rice needs to grow? The tuna need to be caught from water? Or you need to grow avocados? I have no idea. There were only two table in the restaurant at the moment when I ordered until the 4 people group I have mentioned earlier, well after I have got my food. Thanks the waitress to bring me the bowl and “enjoy”. Aww I would hope you tell me something maybe like “sorry, it took quite long, because we have some take away orders” but do you think you should have dealing with take away orders as the same routine for orders which were ordered in the restaurant? Sorry I don’t think so. And last time when I went there for ordering take away, you were telling me that, for take away, if will take 90 minutes and if I am eating in the restaurant, it will be more fast. I am so confused now. So I would say, if you are in a hurry, don’t go! If you come alone, help yourself and enjoy.

Well done sushies, friendly staff, clean eatery, tasty decoration, good value for money. Medium plate satisfies well my appetite.

The staff is friendly, the sushi is fresh and tasty. At lunch you get a portion at a good price. I,ve also ordered their sushi home and everybody loved it

Just popped in for lunch on a saturday and found a delightful establishment located on the south side of the Hansa Shopping Centre opposite the Old Market building. The food preparation was good, the service efficient and courteous although one waitress needs to learn the trade and be more consistent in her duties. Han-ko is a food chain with locations in other cities, notably Helsinki, so the quality is possibly consistent wherever you chose, but if you are visiting Turku then this is an ideal place to savour your favourite sushi dishes. Best to order one of the large selections on the menu as then you can sample several differing varieties. Sadly there is a very limited choice of drinks and no wine is available.

I had a large selection of nigiri and maki here and was surpriced the standard wasnt higher. The spicy once had no spicyness what so ever and the rest was kind of blend. Don 't missunderstand me, it is ok basic sushi, but considering the price I expected more.
