I got the sweet heat boneless wing lunch box special with fries and chili lime slaw. My girlfriend got the sweet heat fried cauliflower lunch box special. We also tried the buttermilk fried donut. Everything was fantastic. It was hot and fresh and the customer service was pretty good as well. We will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend this place
A FB ad with the chicken sandwich with macaroni combined followed by a few friends telling me I should try this had me make the trip out. Even though I had to cross the bridge, at least I could offer Lyft rides along the way and back. Some locals love this place and some think it's okay- I don't think you'll hear too many people it's bad. The location was slightly tricky for me to find: 1. When I went to look, the address was not able to be updated and another review on here pointed me to the right address beforehand. 2. When I was outside the venue, I didn't see the Wing Kitchen sign right away and saw Witcher's Kitchen instead. This made me wonder if I was in the right location, or if I was at an old location instead. I got the fried donut because I saw in several places online that it was a thing to get from this place. it was a nice snack, but it didn't stand out for me. I like the chicken preparation and a fan of hot macaroni with other hot foods. The fried cauliflower is also a thing here and I decided to get that because it's vegetables and I wanted to try it as well. Eating them felt like it was so coated with seasonings that it would get a little kid to eat their vegetables if they don't normally eat them. I almost started to feel like I was starting to eat vegetarian chicken pieces. Not too shabby. I don't regret going, but I'm not going to go out of my way to go back sort of thing either.
The Wings skin was slimy, soggy, and cold. The old bay fries had way too much old bay seasoning on it so I ended up throwing them away. And for the price of everything I was disappointed. I will say the donut was good just a little over fried. My son struggled to eat it. This was also from the food truck so the store could be different. Even though it should all be the same no matter who's preparing/cooking the food.
Picked up our third order within a month from here, and each time we've loved everything! Friendly employees, owner was there today and was super friendly! The food was amazing thank you! We will keep coming back for more!
Curious if my order had been sitting there for a while, I asked him about it. He responded, “12 o’clock, right?” However, it wasn’t yet noon, and I didn’t want to pay top dollar for food that had potentially been left out for too long. I left the restaurant without being thanked for my business, despite spending quite a bit on chicken. The name on my receipt read Christopher, and I hold the owner responsible for this appalling customer service. It’s disheartening that nowadays, employees need to be taught and trained to greet customers and say “thank you.” During this season, it's customary for people to say “Merry Christmas” or “Happy New Year,” but Christopher was practically mute. Management really needs to return to the basics. Business is challenging these days, and no one wants to lose customers due to such incompetence. As for the food, the fries were soggy and excessively salty, prompting me to throw them away. They need to improve how they package takeout fries because the styrofoam accelerates moisture buildup. I ordered cornbread and received a tiny piece measuring about 1 by 2 inches for over $3, which is ridiculous. The wingettes tasted good, but they certainly weren’t worth nearly $12 for just six pieces—definitely not whole wings. There’s nothing on the menu indicating they don’t serve whole wings, which feels misleading. I also purchased some chicken nuggets that were overcooked. I won’t be returning.
