In Search Of: The Perfect Calzone. Beef, green AND black olives, and mushrooms combine within a perfectly browned dough 'encasement ' to bring a taste sensation I hadn 't experienced in almost TWO decades. I graduated from the University of Alabama in 95 ' and haven 't eaten here since. Tut 's is a long standing 'fave ' here on the U of A campus for SOME reason, right? It 's the FOOD. In a word, SCRUMPTIOUS! Cheers...

The subs and burgers are delicious, but I'd avoid the pizza if you're buying by the slice.

Best place every. I love in PA. and went visit my boyfriend at AU. i ate here all the time!!! they have the best grilled chicken sub ever!

Tut's is amazing and super fresh. The sandwiches (especially the chicken parm) and the calzones are amazing! I recommend calling ahead if you want to avoid waiting.

The steak and cheese is a must at this place. Not only is the flavor great, but it's enough to make you miserably full.
