Gen Korean Bbq House - Tustin

It's a great spot if you know what you're looking for. The ventilation and grills are well-maintained, and they quickly replace the grills when needed. I recommend it if you're in the mood for Korean barbecue and are okay with a chain restaurant. However, vegetarians and vegans might be disappointed. If you bring a friend who follows those diets, they will have very limited choices.

The service was terrible. We only made it through the first round of meat and ended up paying $101, despite informing the manager about how poor the service was. We're still hungry! Our waiter was nowhere to be found. I strongly advise against coming here!

The waiter and busboy were extremely friendly, but they were overwhelmed with customers. Meanwhile, the manager just stood around as they were struggling to keep up. To make matters worse, we were served KFC chicken without any sauce because they had run out the day before. Our order of gyozas only had three pieces, but they were arguably the best thing we tasted. We requested rice and rice paper, but it didn’t arrive until after we had finished our first courses, which included bulgogi, sauce-less KFC, and brisket that was just slopped onto the plate instead of presented nicely like it used to be. After complaining about the rice, it finally came out, but it was supposed to be white and instead looked like brown rice from a burnt pot—dry and stale. After they replaced the cooking surface, we sat there for about 20 minutes with nothing else arriving, just watching the surface burn. Eventually, we decided to cut our meal short and paid for what we had eaten. Many other patrons seemed even more frustrated and some walked out without paying at all. This was my last visit to this establishment; I can’t see it lasting much longer. The manager could have intervened in the chaos but chose to stay in their office while everything fell apart. The following day (Friday) at 7:30 PM, I drove past the place and noticed that the long lines that used to wrap around the building had vanished, and the parking lot looked quite empty.

Bad service. We have been here over an hour they only gave us 3 meats and take forever to give it to us. We ordered corn cheese since we got here and the people seated next to us who got sat after us ordered it and got their meat and corn right away the entire time (they had the same waiter ad us).While we waited 20 min for every single meat and side. The waiter Daryl kept coming back (every 30 min) saying they were out of everything but the people beside us got everything. The only thing Daryl was quick at was getting our check.

Service is suck . I will never come to this damned place again
