Mezquite Tacos Fuego - Tustin

As a former ex employee the place is not Re opening, they sold the place unfortunately.

Called the phone number, no rings, it went straight to voicemail, then says mailbox is full and hangs up. Decided to drive there to place a large order for our staff. I get there and they are closed. There was people inside, but they did not bother to open the door or let me know anything. Waste of time and gas. Save your time and don't go. We would appreciate if there was some kind of notice on Yelp or online.

Great food. Just this morning saw a sign o. The front door saying they’re closed for 2-3 weeks for remodeling.

This restaurant has the potential to be great, but they often forget to cook the rice properly. The burrito is distinctive and tasty, especially with the addition of green chiles. While the portion sizes are generous, they do seem to be getting smaller. The serrano aioli is tasty and adds a nice kick. I recommend the shrimp, as it's the best option on the menu. However, about 30% of the time, the rice is overcooked, leaving it hard and crunchy.

Quick service and the best tacos I’ve ever had! I tried the spicy shrimp taco and the chicken taco. They were both generously sized and absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place!
