Called in here off the A1 rather than eating in some rubbish Service Station. Good food, drinks, great value for money, off road parking and small child’s outdoor play area. The owners were friendly and helpful too. Glad we made the effort rather than opting for the services. Just been took over by a couple and their two children in March 2023. So a business in progress. Needs decorating and tables in and outdoors need cleaning better in my opinion. But time will help. Fantastic service , after being let down by the other pub in the village the landlady rustled me up a very tasty pie and mash . Highly recommended for going the extra mile .
