By 11:00, they brought out the cake, but only half of the message I requested was written on it, and it was in the wrong color. The staff initially said they couldn’t fix it, but after we requested to speak to the manager (who wasn't present at the time), they suddenly were able to make adjustments. By 11:10, the final product was ready, but it was still the wrong color. While the ice cream was good and the cake was decent, just be prepared for a minimum quality experience.

Yummy treats, friendly employees and the cleanest, most updated business in town. Visiting Coldstone, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Surf City Squeeze and 29 Souvenirs and Gifts is like stepping into a little slice of the city here in the desert. Thanks for setting the bar high and providing quality to 29 Palms!

Whenever I go to cold stone the staff is always bright and cheery. The guy that served me at this location didn't respond when I said hello, he just stared at me, and then bluntly asked me what I wanted. He was giving me weird looks the whole time. There definitely could have been more toppings on mt ice cream as well. I tipped the dude because I felt bad. He seems like a miserable person or maybe he doesn't enjoy his job. He was a tall blonde kid with beady eyes.

This is the worst place I've ever visited. The customer service is incredibly poor. While customers are left waiting in line, I saw employees in the back room on their cell phones, ignoring everyone. When the employees’ friends came in, they were immediately attended to. It feels like a group of unsupervised kids is running the place. It’s discouraging to support local businesses when they provide such subpar service and the management doesn’t seem to care. I've experienced this three times now, and I won’t be returning.

I visited this evening at 8:58 PM to grab an ice cream. According to their website, they are open until 10:00 PM. When I walked in, I noticed four customers in line and headed to the counter. A young employee approached me and informed me that they were closed. I pointed out the time listed on the website, and she asked to see my phone for confirmation. After checking it, she reiterated that they were closed. The overall atmosphere was definitely unfriendly.
