Mazzio's Italian Eatery - Tyler

We eat here a ton, and have never had a bad experience.

We drove all the way from Houston,Texas to Tyler,Texas just to get that nostalgic taste that you can only get from Mazzio’s! and it was well worth it!! ?FYI Just make sure you order it fresh?

Place is awful. Buffet was cold. Place is nasty inside and old. Hasn't had a remodel in a very long time. Just nasty and too expensive for cold pizza.

There was no one besides the workers on the day I went into the establishment. I remember Mazzio's being a lot busier than this when I was a teen...yup, that's how long it's been since I went into this place. I see the arcade games have been taken away...it just has no luster.The food was okay, it wasn't piping hot, even with me waiting for it to be prepared...more like they microwaved this (calzone ring, what I ordered). This place needs a lot of help to stay alive.

A couple of weeks ago we tried Mazzio's for the first time; it was delivered hot and was actually a very delicious pizza that we craved since then.Tonight we decided to order the same pizza, except pick it up instead of delivery. What a disappointment!We placed the order on Doordash, got a confirmation, and then a pickup time. We arrived a couple minutes later than the pickup time and then ended up waiting around for 20 more minutes.The restaurant is so gross inside that we were taken aback and immediately regretted eating food from their kitchen. Thankfully, our pizza was absolutely terrible this time so there's no way we'll ever be tempted to order from them again.The pizza seemed undercooked and soggy with way too much salty red sauce (gross!!!! . I'm not exaggerating when I say that it was one of the worst pizzas I've ever had it makes the top three list for sure.
