Despite not being very hungry, I opted for the grilled cheese sandwich (without blue cheese and prosciutto) and chips. The sandwich was delicious and the chips were excellent - thin, crisp, flavorful, and not greasy at all! I am excited to try other items on the menu soon and plan to bring friends along, as it seems like a great place to hang out. The ambiance is diner-esque, not too loud, and very pleasant.
Its not a BBQ spot no more but it use to be one of the best BBQ places RIP Uncle Thomas

Although the sandwiches were quite tasty, the price was too high for what you get. I had the rueben sandwich. The sandwich was well loaded as a rueben should be but the thinly sliced rye bread it came on was not enough to hold the sandwich together making it difficult to eat. The pastrami was chopped not sliced allowing for a somewhat fatty mix.. (Think chopped beef vs sliced brisket). We had hoped to share a bowl of french onion soup, you know the kind where the cheese melts over the brim of a crock? Not here. A small plastic bowl was half filled with a salty broth of onions. The bread was not toasted and of course became soggy quickly. I thought perhaps the chef was a little light handed but when I enquired about the bowl only being half filled, I was told that's the way it's supposed to be. Glad we didn't get the cup. It is probably served in a thimble! For my vegetarian wife, her choices were quite limited. She ended up ordering a BLT without the bacon. We were able to negotiate avocado instead of bacon but they only put a thin coat of avocado spread on the bread, Ended up being $12 for essentially a lettuce and tomato sandwich. We also added some home made potato chips that tasted a bit past their shelf life which I'm guessing is short. It would be nice if they threw a couple on your $12 sandwich plate at no cost but no such luck. Not bad food if you are not at all price concious. Not for those who want value for thier money A half sandwich option might soften the blow but is not available.
The first thing that gets reviewed is the customer service. The lady at the front was very nice and explained the items on the menu. The food was very good, you can ask for the sandwich hot or cold. Try the Mediterranean and the TABC. The chicken Tortilla and the tomato soup is also good. Overall a must try for your friendly local sandwich shop.
