Grand Sultan - Tynemouth

I recently visited a fantastic new restaurant that impressed me with its beautiful food. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and there was a wonderful selection of unique dishes alongside the classic options. Without a doubt, it was the most delightful Indian meal I've had in years. The service was exceptional; my waiter even offered to hold my five-month-old baby and tried to rock him to sleep so I could enjoy my meal in peace. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and very accommodating with the children. I couldn't recommend this place more highly!

I came in tonight to celebrate my grandchild's birthday, and everything was amazing! The service was incredible, the food was absolutely delicious—definitely one of the best curries I've ever had. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was lovely. They made my grandchild feel special on their birthday, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return. Thank you for a fantastic evening!

After reading the reviews, we had high expectations, and we were certainly not disappointed. The food is absolutely divine. We enjoyed a variety of dishes, from fish to lamb, and they were all excellent. The naan bread is beautiful—light and fluffy with just the right amount of crispiness. It's the best I've had since moving from Birmingham. Given the high quality of the food and service, the prices are very reasonable.

To be honest, I'm not one for eating crooked plates, but I know that the modern “fusion” trend is a thing. this new restaurant is far away from the front and there is a very beautiful surprise! what I like is good, well presented eating and here “The grand Sultan” in tynemouth meets the brand. in the did, taste, presentation simply says that the work hard in the kitchen is a creative and very good cook. give this place a try and I'm sure they'll return.

Just returned from a lovely meal and evening at Grand Sultan. As a group of friends we’ve not had much luck with new restaurants in the area and have been often disappointed, so we are over the moon to report that the food here was tasty, slightly different from the regular Indian menu and thoroughly satisfying. Service was very friendly and eager to please. All in all very good. We will return. Can’t say fairer than that
