We've received the wrong order multiple times, and the food has often arrived lukewarm. Additionally, smaller items have been missing from our orders. While the staff are generally quick to correct these mistakes, it can still be frustrating, especially when you recall the restaurant's previous high standards. One wonders if the owners have become complacent, relying on their location on Front Street to draw in customers. This may explain the sometimes rude behavior of the staff. On two occasions, staff members took the phone off the hook due to loud noise from the restaurant, making it difficult to hear me. When I called to complain, I was met by a more senior team member—a rather flamboyant character with a noticeable chip on his shoulder—who responded in a confrontational and defensive manner. I find this unacceptable, and I’m not surprised that other reviewers have reported similar experiences. If you choose to order from The Gulshan, there’s roughly a 65% chance that both the food and service will be exceptional. For those who don’t have the same luck, I empathize with you.

Yikes. When we walked in, we were greeted with a wall of dirty cups and dishes stacked across the bar. While they didn’t appear to be overly busy, the staff seemed stretched thin and all aspects of our service was slow. While we enjoyed the nachodoms, the king prawns were over cooked and rubbery, the chicken korma tasted as if a cup of white sugar had been stirred in, and the was poor (i.e. Pepsi products, but no actual Pepsi). Bonus points for being dog friendly and allergen aware, but overall I would not recommend dining here. Dietary restrictions: Staff knowledgeable about gluten free.
