The location was stunning, surrounded by lush greenery and ponds (although this also attracted mosquitoes, the staff quickly offered us mosquito spray).
Beautiful small garden area from a quiet street next to a spa. Service was wonderful. I ordered a fragrant jasmine kombucha and the Buddha shell with crispy tempeh, broccoli and lemon tahini dressing. To die. Make sure to ask for the vegan menu when you go because I missed it. Designed with many raw options. You also have a nice salad bar from 11 a.m. daily.
Overall, as a vegan (not raw vegan), I found that most of the menu items at this restaurant were raw vegan. I decided to try a raw vegan starter and main dish, but unfortunately, everything ended up tasting very similar. While it was good, it definitely wasn't exceptional. However, the raw vegan dessert was quite enjoyable. The staff and atmosphere were excellent, which bumped my rating from 3 stars to 4. Additionally, I also had a manicure and pedicure at the spa, which was decent but not outstanding.
I tried the vegan Nori sushi and yellow curry at this restaurant. The presentation of the food was impressive, but the curry turned out to be more like a soup, which was unexpected. The sushi was decent, but I found myself getting tired of it after only four out of the eight pieces. The menu had several vegetarian options listed on the Rohvegan section, which was confusing to me. When I inquired about it, the waitress informed me that these dishes actually contained animal products, which puzzled me even more. She then had to double-check with the chef to ensure that the items I had chosen, labeled as vegan, were truly free of any animal ingredients. This whole experience left me feeling unsure about the authenticity of the vegan options. While the food wasn't terrible, it didn't leave a lasting impression either.
Had the vegan nori sushi and yellow curry. the food looked great, but the curry wasn't what I expected it was a suppe. the sushi was okay, but after 4 out of 8 pieces I had it somehow. also there were several options marked vegetarian on the rawvegan leaves of the menu that very confused me. When I asked the waitress about it, she said it contained animal products, so I don't know why it was on the vegan menu. then she said that she had to check with the chef whether the dings that I chose were labeled vegan do not contain any animal products. which felt very confused again. eating was not bad, but it didn't scream anymore.
