Le Chalet De La Foret - Uccle

The presentation of the dishes clearly showcased the artistry and hard work of the chef. It was our first experience dining at a 2 Michelin star restaurant, and our expectations were high. While the restaurant did not appear to be understaffed and there were fewer diners due to Covid-19, the wait times between courses were a bit extended. Most of the waitstaff spoke English, but we expected flawless communication at such a top-notch establishment. Our reserved table was not ideal, as we were seated in a corner at a 90-degree angle from each other. However, the waitstaff quickly resolved this issue by bringing an extra chair so we could sit facing one another. Although the seating was not very comfortable, it did solve the problem. The chef made a point to personally visit each table at the end of the evening, which we appreciated. We would consider returning after the Covid-19 crisis is over, but this time we would request a better table. Thank you for a lovely evening.

While it may not have Michelin 2-star status, the restaurant made up for it with a lovely terrace and some truly exceptional first courses. Overall, it was a wonderful evening.

I revisited Le Chalet de la forêt after the Corona crisis and was pleased to find top quality food served by a fantastic team. It was a great pleasure to dine there and we enjoyed discovering new flavor combinations. A special shout out to the assistant sommelier for their expertise.

I had the chance to have lunch twice recently at the forest chalet and we enjoyed it very much. I recommend this starred restaurant. The lunch formula is affordable and sufficient for us. We'll probably come back again. Delicious and beautiful dishes!
