Mathara - The Heights - Udaipur

Yesterday visited this place with family after hearing about the much hyped place. We easily got the table as it wasn't crowded on the Saturday night in the heart of the city. The menu is normal nothing extraordinary in it. The cutlery wasn't clean which was replaced soon. Coming to the food- Dhaniya tamatar ka shorba- it was tomato soup with sprinkles of coriander...not a shorba for sure! Paneer rara- it was exceptional in taste and would recommend others too Dal tadka-another delicacy that one can order here, nicely done Veg Jaipuri- more papad very less veggies, below average Breads were normal-we ordered naan, garlic naan, laccha paratha, missi roti and tandoori roti The staff is something that this place needs to take care. They dont have any knowledge of menu. Even after asking, they havent served the food. Water is something which was served on asking repetitively. The staff was dull. Would not recommend this place.

Ambience was awesome..! Hosting was great ..!! Food was yummy..!! Adding to all this.. the rooftop view to whole Udaipur was fabulous..! Perfect place to dine with family.

It just loved to serve a great experience. would be highly recommended to others.

The menu is normal nothing out of the ordinary. The cutlery was not clean and was soon replaced. Come to eat- Dhaniya tamatar ka shorba - it was a tomato soup with coriander sprinkles ... certainly not a shorba! Paneer Rara - it was exceptional in taste and would recommend to others Dal Tadka - another delicacy to order here, well done Veg Jaipuri- more papad very few vegetables, below par Bread was normal - we ordered naan, garlic naan, laccha paratha, missi roti and tandoori roti The staff is something that this place needs to take care of. You have no menu knowledge. Even after asking, they didn't serve the food. Water is something that has been served in response to repeated questions. The staff was boring. Wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The ambience was great ..! The hosting was great .. !! The food was very tasty .. !! On top of that, the rooftop views of all of Udaipur were fabulous. Perfect place to dine with the family.
