Another place which popped up in recommendations but then, totally disappointed in the execution. On a nice sunny udaipur winter afternoon (30th Dec), we walked into Udai Kothi for lunch and we were impressed from the moment we walked in. The decor is impressive. And as you walk out onto the rooftop restaurant, the beauty continues to impress. The restaurant was pretty much empty. There was no waiter or manager in sight. Finally spotted one and told him we would like a table close to the corner which was occupied but done with their meal. The night ambience of the rooftop restaurant is manificient with a candle lighting pool side sitting and reflection of architecture in lake water. The staff was very polite and warm and food was decent enough. Though a little expensive but worth enough for a such royal feel. After my visit i realised that if i would have visited that place in day light that experience would be more soothing. Must try soup (Daal nariyal ka shorba) awesome taste

Overpriced , low quality and unmaintained hotel and restaurant. Does not have a bar license but still serving alcohol . Number of items in breakfast buffet depend on number of guests staying . Unable to maintain minimum standard which a hotel show keep. Highly Not Recommended . Guests coming from outside india . Please don't get fooled by outer appearance of this hotel or you will end up wasting your money.

Poor service and horrible food. Got food after waiting for 40 mins dt too tasteless again took 25 mins to replace it and again of same taste.
